Early registration for moms and Mentors begins April 1, 2008.

MOPS Moms who are interested in being more involved next year, please talk to Shannon or other Steering Team members and get the low-down.  We meet several times over the summer to plan and get to know each other better and then once a month Oct - May.  

We are looking for Moms who:

Demonstrate a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Displays an accurate and thorough understanding of the MOPS vision, both as it applies to her group and as it reaches moms around the world.

Displays an ability to identify strengths in others and encourage women to develop their own talents.

Delegates well and enjoys having many women involved in projects.

Demonstrates warmth, friendliness, and a desire to reach out to other mothers through her sensitivity and supportiveness.

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program designed to nuture mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten. We hope you find information and inspiration here.

MOPS at Bell Communtiy Church meets every other Friday beginning October 5th, 2007 from 9:30-11:30am at McKinley Elementary school (see a map here).

We are a group of moms dedicated to ministering to mothers of preschoolers. Moms need other moms. They need to know they are not alone. Mothers face a variety of challenges, but they have a heartfelt desire to be the best mom they can be. MOPS exists for every mom - urban, suburban, and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single, and married moms - women from different walks of life who share the trials and joys of being a mom!

Our MOPS meetings offer:

A haven for soothing frazzled nerves and forming lifelong friendships.

A chance to enjoy a delicious breakfast while meeting other moms.

A quality children's program where little ones are cared for and loved through activities.

An inspirational speaker who shares biblical truths and practical ways to fulfill the various roles of mother, wife, and woman.

An opportunity to complete a craft project that moms probably wouldn't have the time or energy to attempt at home.

A place to gain perspective and balance in a group that helps to bring out the best in moms.

The MOPS theme for 2007-2008 is "The HOME factor: Begin Here...Go There!" As a Mom it is important to create a home that is inviting and re-energizing and provides a space for your family to bond and grow. During the coming MOPS year, we will be learning how to make our house a home.

Join us this year to build friendships, hear excellent speakers, complete crafts, and learn more about Christ and His promises to us!
